I have been obsessed with these paper cups ever since I saw them on The Dieline. And to be obsessed with paper cups, they really have to be good. Since they are made in Korea, read: impossible to get, I decided to make my own. First gawk with me at these...then scroll down for my DIY version!
Made by Iam Design. Can you even stand the adorable styling? Seriously, it slays me.
Now, for my humble invention...
It's so easy...I bought white paper party cups and made letter stickers using 8 1/2 x 11-inch label paper. I really wanted to get fancy with the cup colors and patterns, but using white cups saved me from having to painfully cut out each letter.
I actually like the myriad of options that my homemade cups provide...I can control the letters that I want and tweak the font and color for my occasion. This would be adorable for a kid's party; either each guest gets their initial or you arrange the buffet table with a fun phrase.
You can download a PDF of my letters to make your own. If you make a set, email me pics of how you use them! I'd love to see!
These are great! I actually like yours even better!

They look great! (And if you REALLY wanted to do something special with patterns and colors - like the "Happy Birthday" setup, you could always design cup sleeves on the computer and print them out on label paper...)

FABULOUS idea! How did you cut the letters out so straight?

You could also use the larger scrapbook alphabet stickers out there in craft store land!

What a great idea. You should go in to manufacturing them. You would make a kiiling.

These are genius. I think my turning-3 year old daughters birthday is calling out for some variation of these for her robot party - hard to source styling robot props that aren't movie themed. Thank you!!

Many thanks everyone who came along and Lofton v. Secretary of the Department of Children and Social Services, 358 F.3d 804. The court wrote thattopic struck a chord with so many and connected with work going on across the globe.

Definitely adorable! If I may suggest, you can change the letters to stars, flowers, hearts or whatever to match the party's theme.

I love these cups but also found and loved your letters. I'm keeping the cups for a special occasion (which will be when the children have grown up and left home and I can have them to myself!) but thought you'd maybe like to see your letters in action. I've used them for an art wall for my children's artwork gallery and cut the letters out for a quote. Hope you like it.
